Monetary visibility
Control selling-price, cost and margin visibility while preserving draft work.
Set visibility by role
In Web, open Administration → Rôles and use Visibilité monétaire to assign Prix de vente, Coûts d’achat and Marges separately. Roles provide the default. Open Administration → Utilisateurs and choose Exceptions to let a user inherit, allow or deny each category.
Margins are displayed only when all three permissions are allowed. Seeing selling prices and margins would otherwise expose the cost through calculation.
Draft work with prices hidden
Staff without selling-price visibility can choose products and quantities and create or edit draft quotes and orders. Alembic applies prices without showing monetary amounts to that user.
Confirming orders or issuing invoices requires selling-price visibility. A hidden price is different from a price that has not yet been set.
Connected businesses
Customer and supplier businesses see their own transaction prices by default. The sending business can hide these prices for a particular relationship. Internal costs and margins remain private.
Use a role with the intended permissions to check the actual view in Web and Go before assigning it to staff.
